The Louisiana Architectural Foundation (LAF) annually recognizes a well deserving public figure or organization with the Louisiana Architectural Foundation ‘s Patron of Architecture award. The LAF solicits for nominations to recognize non-architect individuals, corporations, organizations and groups whose good works have encouraged, fostered or promoted public understanding and appreciation of quality in Louisiana architecture.
The recipients who have inspired the advancement of architecture in Louisiana through their notable works, receive the Louisiana Patron of Architecture Award at the awards luncheon during the annual AIA Louisiana Design Conference & Expo.
