After much discussion, research, and consideration with respect to Member needs, current contract requirements as well as governmental directives, AIA Louisiana has made the decision to have a hybrid 2021 Conference. Day 1 will be held virutally with the option to attend at the hotel with a group of others, viewing the sessions on wide screen TVs in a large room. Day 2 will be all face-to-face, including a Walking Path Event, a Cocktail Reception and Awards Dinner.

Day 2 will be all face-to-face sessions along with an Awards Dinner. We will track attendance through the ususal Continuing Ed Credit Slips.Yes.
Day 1 will be virtual sessions. You will need to register for the virtual sessions as well as actually log-in/view each one you want credit for at the time it is scheduled to take place. The system will track registered individuals as well as which individuals are logged in for the session.
*If you decide to attend the virtual sessions at the hotel with the group viewing, we will track attendance with the usual Continuing Ed Credit Slips.

The awards program will take place at the Awards Dinner to be help September 24th from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm, at the hotel. Firms will not be required to format or print project boards again this year (one-time potential budget savings for firms!). Viewing and voting for the Members’ Choice Award will take place online this year, the same as last year. Viewing & voting will open on August 19th and close on September 7th. |
