OUTLINE

Using examples of my constructed and conceptual architecture, I will illustrate how the work poetically explores the deep time and culture of place ….while prioritizing the power and physicality of specific sites: the earth, the sky, the climatic and environmental concerns.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  1. Honoring “Capital A” Architecture. No rules, just intense, poetic exploration.
  2. Respecting the landscape.
  3. Bring the client into a Mutual Adventure.
  4. Materiality and Environmental responsibility.

“Architecture is a poetic encounter with place and client…. and deep, and present and future time.” Antoine Predock
