Douglas E. Ashe, FAIA, was awarded the prestigious American Institute of Architects (AIA) Louisiana Medal of Honor at its 75th Anniversary Gala in New Orleans on September 27th. 2018 AIA LA Design Award Winners



Louisiana architects receive top honors in 2018 AIA LA design competition Architecture firms across Louisiana won 17 awards in the prestigious annual design competition conducted by the American Institute of Architects Louisiana Chapter (AIA LA). A nationally recognized panel of judges selected 16 winning projects for 2018 from 73 entries in seven categories, submitted by architects across the state. Ashlie Latiolais, AIA



Ashlie teaches studios and seminar courses in the undergraduate and graduate programs at the ULL School of Architecture and Design. She was most recently awarded the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture ‘New Faculty Teaching Award’ and BUILD Magazine’s ‘Women in Build Award’. Raymond “Skipper” Post, FAIA, was inaugurated as the 56th Chancellor of the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). His inauguration was held at the historic Octagon House and the Institute’s headquarters on December 7, 2017, in Washington, D.C.
