Adamick Architecture is looking for a project manager to complement our team and contribute to the continued success of our firm. We are searching for a candidate who is personable enough to work in a team environment, is highly organized, is self-motivated and can work on tasks with minimal supervision. We prefer a candidate with 4-8 years of professional experience, but we are willing to work with the right individual. Our ideal hire would be able to manage the following expectations and responsibilities:

Expectations:

  • Dedicated minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Have the ability and willingness to be flexible, working both independently and collaboratively with the project team, consultants, and contractors
  • Be capable of learning and adapting to new software as required
  • Be a motivated, self-starter open to opportunities to learn and ask for advice; self-evaluate one’s skills, efficiency and where improvement is needed
  • Effectively communicate with team members and organize workload; meet established deadlines
  • Complete tasks with accuracy, precision, and attention to detail
  • Be a clear written and verbal communicator with strong presentation skills

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain project schedules and pertinent deadlines
  • Assist team in the preparation of client design presentations (selecting conceptual images, generating 3D views, rendered elevations, material selections)
  • Prepare agendas for meetings and take meeting minutes during client meetings
  • Develop an understanding of what should be included in a client presentation based on the meeting agenda
  • Prepare design presentation documents, renderings, and materials
  • Maintain project file structure
  • Coordinate activities of consultants as needed (i.e. engineers, surveyors, etc.)
  • Coordinate structural, electrical, and mechanical drawings with architectural drawings
  • Assist and support the production of Design Development and Construction Document sets
  • Prepare drawings, schedules, and specifications with oversight; review as required
  • Update construction documentation from redlines
  • Develop new or identify existing details to be utilized for project
  • Producing details
  • Self-check own work
  • Research and review local zoning and building codes
  • Archive project emails and maintains standard server file organization
  • Assist and conduct field measurements
  • Attend site visits as observer or as directed

Qualifications and Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Architecture from NAAB accredited school

Required Skills

  • Revit
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • AutoCAD

Preferred Skills

  • Adobe Creative Suite
  • Sketchup

 

**This is an IN-OFFICE position; Must have reliable transportation or be able to commute**
