The Board of Regents of the Louisiana Architectural Foundation shall solicit annually the nomination of and if selected, shall publicly recognize non-architect individuals, corporations, organizations and groups whose good works have encouraged, fostered or promoted public understanding and appreciation of quality in Louisiana architecture.
Nominees who have inspired the advancement of architecture in Louisiana through their notable works, shall receive the Louisiana Patron of Architecture Award during the AIA Louisiana annual convention Awards Luncheon.
AIA Louisiana will issue an annual call to AIA LA Chapters (who are to notify their members) and with notices in the AIA Louisiana Newsletter for nominees for the Louisiana Patron of Architecture Award by March 1. AIA Chapters and members are encouraged to submit nominations for the Louisiana Patron of Architecture Award to the Louisiana Architectural Foundation on or before June 1st of each year, on the provided forms.
