NEAL JOHNSON, RRO, AIA SERVES ON IIBEC BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Neal Johnson, AIA, RRO, owner and President of Neal Johnson LLC began his second of a two-year term on the International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants (IIBEC) Board of Directors.  He serves as a Regional Director of Region IV (Louisiana).

IIBEC is an international association of professionals who specialize in roofing, waterproofing and exterior wall specification and design.  With current membership exceeding 3,600, members offer unbiased design, repair planning, quality assurance observance, legal testimony and general roofing and other building enclosure management services. IIBEC’s Consultant members adhere to a strict code of ethics that offers unprejudiced service without affiliation with any product or manufacturer.

With a career spanning 40 years, Johnson’s areas of expertise include architecture, construction expert testimony, contract compliance review, roofing/envelope consultation and delay claim and schedule analysis.  Among other services Neal Johnson, LLC provides are facility condition assessment, defect and damage mapping, infrared thermography, program management, document quality control, code compliance and project closeout.

His continued training and experience in Program Management, Project Neutral, Integrated Project Delivery, Design Build and Construction Management at Risk provides a distinguished knowledge base for clients.

In addition to serving on the IIBEC board, Johnson is an active member of American Institute of Architects, where he is a professional member and a speaker and workshop facilitator providing CEU credit courses, Forensic Expert Witness Association (FEWA) and serves on the Cool Roof Rating Council Program Committee (one of two architects in the United States).  He is also a member of International Facility Managers Association, American National Standards Institute and National Roof Contractors Association.  Neal Johnson LLC is Louisiana Economic Development Certified – Active as a Small Business Entrepreneurship with LED Hudson Initiative and as a Small and Emerging Business Enterprise.
